Features

Spinning stop collar with O-ring spins free of the drill bit, preventing marring or burnishing of the fascia board surface

Anti-clog debris cavity gathers waste material, keeping it clear of the countersink

Pre-set countersink matches the diameter and depth of the screw and plug, ensuring a perfect fit

Together with the countersink, the overall hole depth is designed for use with fascia boards that are 1/2" to 3/4" thick

Standard drills are recommended for use with the Pro Plug PVC tool; impact drivers may not set the screw to the correct depth

Description

The Starborn Pro Plug System Fascia Tool Set ensures a straightforward and easy fascia installation in one convenient set. Pre-drill with the Fascia Plug Tool until the collar stops spinning. This creates an oversized hole for the fascia screw so that the fascia board hangs from the screw and can naturally expand and contract without putting a large amount of force on the fastener. Drive through the screw with the PVC/Composite Tool using a standard drill on high speed. Do not use an impact driver with the setting tool. The setting tool has an auto-stop mechanism that will make a "pop" sound when the screw is set to the correct depth. Insert the plug into the hole and tap with a smooth-faced hammer until the plug is flush with the board.
