This self-adhesive wall flash is easy to install between your house - just use your first deck board to compress the flashing and then continue installing deck boards normally.

The Trex RainEscape deck drainage system is the perfect way to enhance a deck, creating dry space where you can run wiring for lighting or ceiling fans beneath your deck boards.

Trex RainEscape Wall Flash comes in 25-foot rolls that are 1 inch wide and 1/4-inch thick.

Please note: this system can only be used for new projects; it cannot be installed on an existing deck.

When building a deck, it's important to consider flashing where the deck meets the house. Trex RainEscape Wall Flashing is made to compress and seal the gap between your first deck board and your house siding. To install, start by cutting a piece of the self-adhesive wall flash the width of the deck. Peel the release paper from the flashing and adhere to decking, siding, or flashing. Push the first deck board up against the house to compress the wall flash. Secure the decking.
