Description

The YUKON #18 Structural Lag Screw is a strong lag screw with a large washer 5/16" hex head for powerful torque transmission and easy installation. The twin blade knurls cut fast to dramatically reduce friction and heat on the shank, while reducing load on the drill. The blade also provides better performance by removing debris. The 17 point tip has an immediate grip for a fast start. The inset thread cuts drastically reducing splitting effect and minimizes the driving torque needed to engage the wood. Commonly used for landscaping , timbers, heavy duty lumber, deck framing, ledgers, posts, beams and more. Compatible with most above ground pressure treated lumber. For ground contact treated lumber, areas, within one mile of saltwater, near swimming pools, exposure to corrosive chemicals, or other areas where corrosion is more likely, use proper grade stainless steel.
