Description

The STINGER NailPac is for use with the STINGER CN100B or CN100 Cap Nailer (sold separately) to install housewrap or roofing underlayment. Each NailPac covers approximately 25 square and includes 10 rolls of collated plastic caps (1") and 10 coils of 200 electro-galvanized or 304-grade stainless steel ring shank nails (1").

Cap fasteners are a recommended best practice installation by top housewrap and roofing underlayment manufacturers such as GAF, DuPont, Tyvek, Grace, and Titanium. Why? Because caps help seal out moisture that can penetrate sidewall and roofing fabrics or material. Caps provide better holding power than just nails or staples alone, which means reduced blow-offs and lateral slippage. It also means that fewer fasteners are needed to get the job done.
