Description

Cap fasteners are a recommended best practice installation by housewrap and roofing underlayment manufacturers like GAF, DuPont, Tyvek, Grace. and Titanium. Why? Because caps help seal out moisture that can penetrate sidewall and roofing fabrics. Caps provide better holding power than a nail or staple alone, which means reduced blow-offs and lateral slippage. It also means fewer fasteners are needed to get the job done.

This Stinger 21ga StaplePac is for use with the Stinger CH38-2 or CH38A cap hammers (sold separately) to install housewrap or roofing underlayment. Each StaplePac covers approximately 25 square and includes 12 rolls of 168 collated plastic caps (1") and 24 strips of 84 A-11 galvanized wire staples (3/8", 21ga).
